Who we are and why
we work together in working groups
Welcome to the Residents' Council. The Residents' Council is an independent advisory body, formed by and for tenants. We are committed to making their voices heard in the housing association's discussions. We are not part of the housing association, but we do work together to improve the living environment for everyone. Our Residents' Council consists of committed tenants who are committed to a pleasant, safe, and livable neighborhood. We listen to what's going on, gather feedback and experiences from residents, and based on this, provide solicited and unsolicited advice to the housing association.
Why do we work with working groups?
Because housing has so many different facets, we work with various working groups and committees. Each working group focuses on a specific topic, such as rental policy, safety, sustainability, healthcare, gardens, and energy transition. This allows us to delve deeply into each theme and provide targeted input on improvements.
What do the working groups do?
The working groups are made up of residents who want to get involved in a specific issue. They gather information, discuss issues, listen to other tenants, and work together to find solutions. This way, we ensure our recommendations are well-founded and truly relevant to the neighborhood's concerns.
Together we make the difference
We don't have formal decision-making authority, but our strength lies in collaboration and engagement. Together with residents, the housing association, and other partners, we work to create a neighborhood where everyone feels heard and can live comfortably.
